Iris Reed is forced to bridge the gap between her transgender identity and her romantic aspirations as she struggles to come out to the man she’s dating. Her heady nature makes for romantic daydreams, but also doom-filled nightmares as she attempts to find normalcy in her expectations. Iris consults a council made up of her imaginary cisgender self, her deceased father, and a younger, pre-transition version of herself for guidance as she struggles to choose between her old dreams or her future self.
